Necks

A high quality neck is fitted as standard which has been fully setup and fret dressed for optimum playability. However, being the prime means of interaction with your guitar, it is vital that the neck and associated hardware also suits your playing style and feels just right in your hand. I therefore am able to source a wide range of neck profiles, finishes, fretboard radii, the frets thicknesses and profiles, etc

My standard neck specification includes:

  • Woods - Solid Canadian hardrock maple
  • Fretboard - Maple or rosewood
  • Finish - Natural or vintage coloured satin or gloss
  • Profile - Modern "C" shape
  • Fretboard radius - 9.5"
  • Nut - 42mm natural bone
  • Frets - 21 or 22 medium jumbo

Neck options:

  • Woods - A range of other woods is available for neck and fretboard including walnut, mahogany and ebony
  • Finish - A range of finishes and colours including hand-rubbed Tru-oil and Nitro-cellulose
  • Profile - A range of neck profiles including "V", soft "V", "D", etc
  • Radius - Other radii from 7" to 14" including compound radius
  • Frets - All common fret sizes available
  • Nut - Tusq and brass nuts available
  • 24 fret option
